DB Development, Dean Berman, was founded in January of 2005. It started with a simple web development project, which then turned into a full commercial web service.
Once more and more projects came along, web hosting became a necessity. A simple machine was then used to serve many web sites and databases.
Web work primarily using the concept of LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL & PHP).
Linux is the servers' operating system DB Development uses. It is more secure and more reliable than many Windows OS systems and provides easy access for file manipulation and upgrades.
Apache is an open source web server which is used on the linux machine to support all of DB Development's web sites and databases.
MySQL is a Database Management system, open source, and is setup for all of DB Development's back end systems and web sites.
PHP is a form of web language which is also open source and is used on many of the Internets' web sites today. The language is based around the Java development language as well as C++ and pERL.
All of our web sites are development around on system.

My name is Dean Berman. I am a CSC Graduate from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, Spring 2006.
I work as a Civilian Contractor in Charleston, SC as a Senior Software Engineer.
I have 9 years of PHP, MySQL experience and I am certified in MySQL 5.0 as well as Linux+ and Network+ certified.
